Medistri SA is equipped with two sterilization chambers of a capacity of 16 palettes, representing an annual volume of 25000 palettes. The size of the chamber is planned to sterilize loads up to 200cm of height, thus to maximize the size of production loads in order to reduce the costs.

The standard procedure is based on a cycle under vacuum; we inject the ETO gas (purity of 100 %) that is mixed in with some nitrogen once in the vessel. The sterilization chamber, made of stainless steel, is heated by a water jacket passing through the walls and doors. The system is equipped with an automated monitoring control.
