Medistri, a leading provider of contract sterilization & laboratory services for healthcare companies, announces its enrollment in the Swiss Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Compliance Monitoring Program, effective 13 May 2026. The formal decision was issued by the Notification Authority for Chemicals (NAChem) at the Federal Office of Public Health, following inspections conducted by Swissmedic. The official list of GLP-compliant laboratories in Switzerland, published by the Swiss Federal Authorities and now including Medistri as part of the Swiss GLP Compliance Monitoring Program, can be consulted here.

Medistri’s GLP scope covers chemical characterization (TOC, HCT, EO/ECH/EG, VOC and SVOC), cytotoxicity (ISO 10993-5), microbiological method validation (bioburden, sterility, endotoxin, germ identification), and cleanliness testing (sub-visible particles, protein and hemoglobin). This makes Medistri the only facility on the Swiss GLP register to combine this full range of cleaning validation, biological safety, and chemical characterization testing under a single GLP scope. Our official GLP Certificate is now also available on our website.

Combined with its existing ISO 17025 accreditation, Medistri now offers manufacturers a single laboratory partner for GLP-compliant safety data accepted by regulatory authorities worldwide, including the FDA, European notified bodies, Swissmedic, and all OECD member-country authorities.

Founded in 2006, Medistri has been focused on building infrastructure for the healthcare industry. Companies of every size, from startups & university projects to Fortune 500 companies use our services to save time, scale and focus on what they do best.

Medistri is committed to work closely with our clients and partners needs and following strict sterilization and laboratory guidelines to ensure the highest level of safety and effectiveness.

To further present this achievement and the capabilities behind our GLP laboratory infrastructure, we have also released a dedicated video available on LinkedIn, Instagram, X and Facebook.
